01 / Challenge

Where the manual work enters

Moving job details from a source document into a quoting system invites repeated typing and inconsistent line items. Complex source documents also need a safe path when required information is missing.

02 / System

How the workflow responds

The workflow reads a Google Drive work order, extracts and validates job details, assembles quote line items, creates a Jobber draft, and sends incomplete records through explicit exception handling.

03 / Functional result

What the demonstration proves

A valid source document reaches a structured Jobber draft quote; incomplete or failed records are separated and archived for review instead of disappearing silently.

Signal path

One record, four controlled stages.

  1. 01

    Receive

Detect and load the source work-order document.

  2. 02

    Extract

Parse customer, job, and invoice details.

  3. 03

    Validate

Check required fields and construct quote line items.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Create the Jobber draft or route the record for review.
